【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheproportionofthetotalsolidswhicharesolublesolidsandthatproportionwhichareinsolublesolidsinasolutionoftanninextractorinthewaterextractfromraworspentmaterialspreparedfortanninanalysis.Thespecimensarealiquotsfromtheanalyticalsolutionspreparedfromtanninextractsorthewaterextractsolutionspreparedfromraworspentmaterials.ThesolublesolidsaredefinedastheportionofthetotalsolidswhicharedissolvedinthewaterandpassthroughafilterpreparedbydepositingalayerofKaolinpasteontoastandardfilterpaper.TheinsolublesaredefinedastheportionofthetotalsolidswhichdonotpassthroughthestandardfilterpaperpreparedwiththelayerofKaolinpaste.Theresultsofthistestmethodaredependentonagreatmanyvariablesbutparticularlyupon:5.5.1Thetemperatureconditionsunderwhichthesolutionswerepreparedandstoredandthetemperatureatwhichthecurrentanalysisisperformed;5.5.2TheuniformityandconsistencyoftheKaolinpastelayerdepositedontothefilterpaper;5.5.3Therateofsolutionrun-outfromthepipette;etc.Itis,therefore,essentialthatthemethodbefollowedexactlyinordertoobtainreproducibleresultsbothamongspecimenswithinalaboratoryandforanalysesbetweenlaboratories.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedforuseindeterminingthequantityofsolublesolidsandinsolublesinsolutionsoftanninextracts,waterextractsofvegetabletanningmaterials,ortanningliquors.Thistestmethodisapplicabletotheanlysisofliquid,solid,pasty,andpowderedtanninextractsandtothewaterextractsofraworspentmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
