【摘要】:Performancepropertiesaredependentonthenumberandtypeofshortchainbranches.Thistestmethodpermitsmeasurementofthesebranchesforethylenecopolymerswithpropylene,butene-1,hexene-1,octene-1,and4-methylpentene-1.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminesthemolarcompositionofcopolymerspreparedfromethylene(ethene)andasecondalkene-1monomer.Thissecondmonomercanincludepropene,butene-1,hexene-1,octene-1,and4-methylpentene-1.1.2CalculationsofthistestmethodarevalidforproductscontainingunitsEEXEE,EXEXE,EXXE,EXXXE,andofcourseEEEwhereEequalsetheneandXequalsalkene-1.Copolymerscontainingaconsiderablenumberofalkene-1blocks(suchas,longerblocksthanXXX)areoutsidethescopeofthistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSection8foraspecifichazardstatement.Note18212;ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.
