【摘要】:Replacement:ThispartofIEC61496specifiesadditionalrequirementsforthedesign,constructionandtestingofelectro-sensitiveprotectiveequipment(ESPE)forthesafeguardingofmachinery,employingactiveopto-electronicprotectivedevicesresponsivetodiffusereflection(AOPDDRs)forthesensingfunction.Specialattentionisdirectedtorequirementswhichensurethatanappropriatesafety-relatedperformanceisachieved.AnESPEmayincludeoptionalsafetyrelatedfunctions,therequirementsforwhicharegivenbothinannexAofthispartandinannexAofIEC61496-1.Thispartdoesnotspecifythedimensionsorconfigurationsofthedetectionzoneanditsdispositioninrelationtohazardouspartsforanyparticularapplication,norwhatconstitutesahazardousstateofanymachine.ItisrestrictedtothefunctioningoftheESPE.AOPDDRsaredevicesthathaveadetectionzonespecifiedintwodimensionswhereinradiationinthenearinfraredrangeisemittedbyatransmitterelement(s).Whentheemittedradiationimpingesonanobject(forexample,apersonorpartofaperson),aportionoftheemittedradiationisreflectedtoareceivingelement(s)bydiffusereflectionwherebythepresenceoftheobjectcanbedetected.NOTEUndercertaincircumstances,limitationsofthesensorinrelationtoitsuseneedtobeconsidered.Forexample:–Objectsthatgeneratemirror-like(specular)reflectionsmaynotbedetectedifthediffusereflectancevalueislessthanthatspecifiedforthe"black"testpiece.–Thedeterminationoftheminimalreflectionfactorsforthedetectionofobstaclesisbasedontheclothingofaperson.Objectshavingareflectivitylowerthanthatconsideredinthispartmaynotbedetected.ExcludedfromthispartareAOPDDRsemployingradiationofwavelengthoutsidetherange820nmto946nm,andthoseemployingradiationotherthanthatgeneratedbytheAOPDDRitself.Forsensingdevicesthatemployradiationofwavelengthsoutsidethisrange,thispartmaybeusedasaguide.AlsoexcludedareAOPDDRshavingastateddetectioncapabilityoutsidetherange50mmto100mm.Thispartmayberelevanttoapplicationsotherthanthosefortheprotectionofpersons,forexample,fortheprotectionofmachineryorproductsfrommechanicaldamage.Insuchapplications,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary,forexample,whenthematerialsthathavetobedetectedbythesensingfunctionhavedifferentpropertiesfromthoseofpersonsandtheirclothing.Thispartdoesnotdealwithelectromagneticcompatibility(EMC)emissionrequirements.Opto-electronicdevicesthatperformonlyone-dimensionalspot-likedistancemeasurements,forexample,proximityswitches,arenotcoveredbythispart.
