【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversavehicletestproceduretoevaluatethetendencyofanunleadedspark-ignitionenginefueltofoulelectronicportfuelinjectors(PFI).Thetestmethodisapplicabletounleadedspark-ignitionenginefuelswhichmaycontainantioxidants,corrosioninhibitors,metaldeactivators,dyes,depositcontroladditives,andoxygenates.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregiventhroughoutthistestmethod.Note1IfthereisanydoubtastothelatesteditionofTestMethodD5598,contactASTMHeadquarters.Otherpropertiesofsignificancetospark-ignitionenginefuelaredescribedinSpecificationD4814.
