【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysical,mechanical,packagingandlabellingrequirementsforcuringpolymerizingradio-opaqueandnon-radio-opaqueresincementsbasedonpoly(methacrylicacidesters).Itappliestotwotypesofcement,intendedrespectivelyforusewithasyringeorinthedoughstate,forthefixationofinternalorthopaedicprosthesesandsuppliedasunitscontainingpremeasuredamountsofsterilepowderandofsterileliquidinformssuitableformixingatthetimeofimplantation.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotcoverthehazardsassociatedwiththeuseofthecementinrespectofeitherthepatientortheuserofthecement.Allrequirementsapplyto,andalltestsareintendedtobeperformedon,thesterileproduct.
