【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtoevaluateautomotivelubricant’effectoncontrollingcamlobewearforoverheadvalve-trainequippedengineswithslidingcamfollowers.Note18212;Thistestmethodmaybeusedforengineoilspecifications,suchasSpecificationD4485,API1509,SAEJ183,andILSCGF3.1.1Thistestmethodmeasurestheabilityofcrankcaseoiltocontrolcamshaftlobewearforspark-ignitionenginesequippedwithanoverheadvalve-trainandslidingcamfollowers.Thistestmethodisdesignedtosimulateextendedengineidlingvehicleoperation.TheSequenceIVATestMethodusesaNissanKA24Eengine.Theprimaryresultiscamshaftlobewear(measuredatsevenlocationsaroundeachofthetwelvelobes).Secondaryresultsincludecamlobenosewearandmeasurementofironwearmetalconcentrationintheusedengineoil.Otherdeterminationssuchasfueldilutionofcrankcaseoil,non-ferrouswearmetalconcentrations,andtotaloilconsumption,canbeusefulintheassessmentofthevalidityofthetestresults.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeAnnexA5forspecificsafetyprecautions.
